The player controlling the most religious votes is able to upgrade one of his churches to a cathedral.

The player controlling the most school votes is able to upgrade one his schools to an university.

The player controlling the most masonrie votes is able to upgrade one of his masonries to a masonic temple.

There are two advantages to the upgrades:

•  the Cathedral, the University and the Masonic temple always provide a vote, regardless of their population, allowing to use additional population markers as free bidding tools
• If the prince candidate calls a council vote for his election, the players with an upgrade who supported him shares the win, providing up to 4 winners
